Since its establishment in 1996, the Young Shin company has produced/exported a good quality of Seasoned Laver and other seafood and agricultural food products. Young Shin had acquired ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for its good quality of the Seasoned Laver products in 2005. In recognition of the good quality of the products, Young Shin's food products have been distributed under the brand name of "Sea Friend" through the Korea's Post Office shopping channel since 2003. Young Shin was designated as one of the promising companies by the South Chung Cheong Province Government in 2005.
